The eyes tell us stories.
They show joy and pain.
Tales from our lives.
Bad, good and everything in between.
Your eyes show a deep pain,
Mixed with loss and heartache.
Joy does exist,
But damage is prominent.
The same exists in mine,
I'm sure of it.
Worthlessness and depression,
Haunts my past and present.
We are both beings daydreaming,
Watching life as we stare unto it.
Together we could share this pain,
And maybe overcome it.
I'll forever be here,
If that's what you may desire?
I won't push you,
Just remember the promise I made.
